23 November 2021 was a very special day at Zafire Group Ltd’s HQ in Banbury, UK with staff showing their support for a very special, sassy, and smart local young lady, Esme, and her Pizza Lunch Fundraiser generously hosted by local foodservice company, Tugo.
Esme has Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), a genetic disease affecting the central nervous system, peripheral nervous system, and voluntary muscle movement (skeletal muscle). Tugo decided to give Esme and her family the best Christmas ever and invited the local community, including local businesses, to support Esme’s Pizza Lunch Fundraiser by ordering pizza in exchange for a donation to the JustGiving page set up for the event.
Mark, our Technical Director (who, as you can see, also happens to make a great pizza delivery guy!), coordinated the order from Zafire Group Ltd, tempting colleagues’ tastebuds with a substantial order of Margherita, Pumping Pepperoni, Meat Feast, and Ultimate Veggie pizzas: delicious! Colleagues were very generous indeed and helped exceed the fundraising target set to ensure Esme and her family can celebrate Christmas 2021 in style.
