Local company, Zafire Group Limited, specialists in Service Management and Aviation Software solutions, spread some Christmas cheer yesterday as part of their annual family day.
After an elvish morning wrapping presents, 7 employees and 10 children visited Banbury Hospital Children’s ward. Turning into mini Santas they delivered an exciting array of presents to the children on the ward.
The idea sprung from a recent Zafire team day, when toys had been used as part of the training. Wondering what to do with them after, the idea came to buy enough for all the children on the hospital ward and make wrapping and delivery part of the company’s family day’s activities.
Chris Beiling, Commercial Director of Zafire, says “it was a great opportunity to open our children’s eyes to the value of giving at Christmas and to encourage them to enter the joy ofgiving”
