Come and visit Zafire at Stand 10-96!

Come and join the Zafire team at Stand 10-96 at the RAI Amsterdam in the Netherlands on 05 and 06 October 2022 for the world’s most important aviation technology conference and exhibition!  The World Aviation Festival #Aviationfest is taking place from 04 to 06 October 2022 and is Zafire’s final show of the year at which we’ll be exhibiting on 05 and 06 October 2022.  The event brings together 5000 global executives and 400 speakers over three incredible days, and it’s not to be missed.  Register now for this year’s World Aviation Festival and take advantage of a 25% discount off the full delegate price with the discount code WAF25.

If you’re wondering what on earth the acronym ‘RAI’ stands for in RAI Amsterdam, we can reliably inform you that it stands for ‘Rijwiel en Automobiel Industrie’ (i.e. Bicycle and Automobile Industry) and harks back to the trade association origins of the building in the late-nineteenth/early-twentieth centuries.  And, from bicycles and cars, it’s but a short aerial leap to airplanes, of course…

Never ones to disappoint our avid readers, we’ve tracked down some Dutch Aviation facts to get you in the mood for this year’s Dutch-flavoured #Aviationfest.  If you’ve read any of our previous pre-show blogs, you’ll know that tracking down Aviation facts from the host country’s past has become something of a Zafire tradition.  Dutch Aviation history delivers magnificently:

  • Did you know that The Royal Dutch Airline, otherwise known as KLM (Koninklijke Luchtvaart Maatschappij N.V., i.e. Royal Aviation Company Plc), is the oldest operating airline in the world?  It was established in 1919, a year before our friends at Qantas took to the skies in 1920.
  • Did you know that the most famous Dutch aviator to date has been Anthony Fokker (1890-1939), who founded the well-known aircraft manufacturer, Fokker?  The company dominated the Aviation industry in the 1920s and 1930s, and is credited with many aviation firsts.  In 1928, for example, Amelia Earhart (the name should ring a bell!) became the first woman to fly across the Atlantic as a passenger in a Fokker FVII.

Now that we’ve proven our Dutch hosts’ chops in Aviation, let us prove our own Aviation chops (along with our acting chops!).  Here’s something a little different from the Zafire team to give you a sneak preview of what you can expect from Stand 10-96 at the World Aviation Festival.

Some of the Zafire stars of our video will be on hand at Stand 10-96 to sign their autographs (yes, YouTube fame has gone to their heads!) and, on a serious note, tell you more about our Global Aviation Software Solutions, of course, including the latest versions of our core solutions:

  • FirstRamp (cloud-based app for management of high-volume and time-critical turnaround tasks).
  • FirstLoad (Automated Load Control for instant clearance and paperless ramp – safety is paramount).
  • FirstBag (‘Download & Go’ SaaS-based baggage reconciliation and ‘One-Touch Reflighting’).

So, if you are looking to optimise aircraft turnaroundplan your workforcemanage complex SLAs, contracts and billingimplement a centralised load control strategy, or manage your bags more effectively, don’t miss out on a coffee, a chat, and maybe even a Dutch stroopwafel with us at Stand 10-96 from 05 and 06 October 2022!
