As the IGHC Ground Handling Conference draws to a close, Zafire are enjoying their last day in Kuala Lumpur showcasing their latest innovative and comprehensive aviation solutions.
With a quarter of the delegates that have attended over the past three days already visiting the stand, the event has already been hailed a success, far exceeding expectations. The 27th International Ground Handling Conference hosted at the Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur, 27th – 30th April has been a fantastic platform in which to connect with suppliers and buyers from within the aviation industry.
Chris Beling, Commercial Director from Zafire explains ‘the event has been a great opportunity to reconnect with contacts and meet new faces. Overall it has been a fantastic way in which to do business in an informal and enjoyable environment’.
Yesterday delegates were treated to an informative workshop ‘Mobilization at the ramp – data capture for both billing and service level compliance’ co-facilitated with Bruno Roussel, Manager, FINEX Governance and Standards and Dimitrios Sanos, Product Manager Airport & Ground Operations Training from IATA.
Over 40 delegates attended the workshop gaining insight into IATA’s best practices and standards. The workshop discussions focused on determining how data capture in electronic form at ramp will assist in measurable SLA compliance, more accurate billing including data capture (and billing) for additional tasks and services delivered at ramp.
