Two million flights and counting, that’s how many flights Widerøe Ground Handling has processed thanks to FirstRamp, Zafire’s end-to-end solution that supports every aspect of ground operations, and it all started with a conversation at a previous IGHC in 2016!
It’s hardly surprising, therefore, that we’re delighted to have caught up with our old friends, Widerøe Ground Handling, at this year’s IGHC2022 (taking place right now from 31 May to 2 June 2022 at the Palais Brongniart in Paris, France). It’s the perfect event to celebrate five successful years of official partnership as we showcase the latest versions of our core suite of Aviation solutions, FirstRamp included of course!
Widerøe is Norway’s largest ground service provider, providing services such as loading and unloading of baggage and cargo, reporting to flight personnel, and various services to the aircraft such as water service and de-icing. Back in 2017, tech-savvy Widerøe were early adopters of FirstRamp, working collaboratively with Zafire to develop the perfect system for their operational needs which rolled out to 43 airports across Norway in a mere eight weeks. Nowadays, thanks to FirstRamp, Widerøe is able to deploy a new station within a day!
Intrigued? We hope so! Do come and find out more about FirstRamp at IGHC2022 at Booth 25. We’re also showcasing the latest versions of the other components of our core suite of Aviation solutions, including FirstLoad (Automated Load Control for instant clearance and paperless ramp) and FirstBag (‘Download & Go’ SaaS-based baggage reconciliation and ‘One-Touch Reflighting’).
So, if you are looking to optimise aircraft turnaround, plan your workforce, manage complex SLAs, contracts and billing, implement a centralised load control strategy, or manage your bags more effectively, come and join us for a coffee and a chat at Booth 25 from 31 May to 2 June 2022!
