The excitement is building at Zafire House here in Banbury, UK, as we get ourselves ready for IGHC 2022! IATA’s Ground Handling Conference is one of the industry’s premier events. This year, it takes place from 31 May to 2 June 2022 at the Palais Brongniart in Paris, France. We can’t wait to rub shoulders with friends old and new, and show off our ground handling tech wizardry in the magical capital of France.
Now, you’re bound to know that Paris is nicknamed the city of light (and of love!). However, you’re much less likely to know that it’s also the birthplace of the first woman in the world to have earned a pilot’s licence. Renowned aviator, Elise Deroche, also known as Baroness Raymonde de Laroche, was born there on 22 August 1882. She received her pilot’s licence from Aéro-Club de France on 8 March 1910. Aviation has come a long, long way since 1910 (notwithstanding COVID-19!). Of course, we’d love to know what the pioneering Baroness would make of our own pioneering products.
Actually, we’d also love to hear what any and all of the 650+ delegates attending IGHC 2022 make of our Global Aviation Software Solutions. You definitely do not need to be a baroness to receive the warmest of welcomes by the Zafire team at Booth 25!
Come and say ‘hello’ to the Zafire team at Booth 25 and you’ll be in for a treat. As our global footprint grows and we continue to work with customers, old and new, we’re delighted to put the spotlight on the latest versions of our core suite of Aviation solutions at this year’s IGHC:
- FirstRamp.
- FirstLoad (Automated Load Control for instant clearance and paperless ramp).
- FirstBag (‘Download & Go’ SaaS-based baggage reconciliation and ‘One-Touch Reflighting’).
Do come for a coffee and a chat with us at Booth 25 if you are looking to:
- Optimise aircraft turnaround.
- Plan your workforce.
- Manage complex SLAs, contracts, and billing.
- Implement a centralised load control strategy.
- Manage your bags more effectively.
